Stronger communities

Middlesbrough Partnership's Stronger Communities Group was established in September 2007, as a result of work undertaken by MVDA and Middlesbrough Community Network to develop the stronger communities agenda. The Stronger Communities Group oversees work on a range of cross-cutting themes, including community engagement and cohesion, volunteering and the development of the voluntary and community sector.

The Stronger Communities Group is chaired by the Chair of MVDA's Board, with MVDA's Planning and Partnership Team Leader sharing the role of lead officer.
